The Chicago center is very close to the Metro Line 14 (station Bibliothèque François Mitterrand), which is very quick. If you can find a hotel that is close enough to one of the stations of Line 14, you will be well connected to the conference site.
On July 6th (all day), the conference will move to the University Paris Cité, which is a short walk from the Metro station François Mitterand.
